Lamb Boulevard – I 15 Aviation Images
CLIENTS
Clark County, NDOT, City of North Las Vegas and Engineering firms including: VTN, Parsons Transportation Group, Louis Berger, CH2MHill
SCOPE
Bridge design enhancements and bridge architecture as a sub-consultant to engineering firms
RESULT
15 bridges completed, 4 to be constructed, 5 under design, RTC approval obtained for 1.5 percent of construction costs for urban design enhancements for all RTC funded projects
VALENCIA, CA: Town Center Master Plan
CLIENT
Newhall Land, an affiliate of Lennar Corporation (as an employee of Newhall Land)
SCOPE
Act as the owner’s planning and design director in preparation of the master plan
RESULT
The master plan became the conceptual basis for land use actions allowing the construction of a regional retail center, traditional main street, and mixed use residential and employment for the first new urbanist town center completed in California.

Summerlin Master Plan:
Las Vegas, NV
CLIENT
The Howard Hughes Corporation, an affiliate of General Growth Properties (as an employee of Howard Hughes)
SCOPE
Act as the owner’s planning and design director in preparation of the master plan update
RESULT
The master plan update became the conceptual basis for investments in parks and community facilities, village development plans and a key document used for community outreach

Summerlin Centre Development Plan:
Las Vegas, NV
CLIENT
The Howard Hughes Corporation, an affiliate of General Growth Properties (as an employee of Howard Hughes)
SCOPE
Act as the owner’s planning and design director in preparation of the development plan for Summerlin Centre
RESULT
The development plan became the basis for Summerlin Centre community outreach, land use actions, infrastructure and park investments and village pro forma, Summerlin Centre East is built out, the core area is under development, a major resort casino has been completed
Summerlin Community Monuments:
Las Vegas, NV
CLIENT
The Howard Hughes Corporation, an affiliate of General Growth Properties (as an employee of Howard Hughes)
SCOPE
Act as the owner’s planning and design director to update the community monument and gateway program for Summerlin to facilitate opening of new submarkets
RESULT
Developed a hierarchy of community monumentation and locations to facilitate marketing of the community in two separate submarkets including monumentation on the new beltway, several gateways were completed

Design Criteria: Summerlin Centre East
CLIENT
The Howard Hughes Corporation, an affiliate of General Growth Properties (as an employee of Howard Hughes)
SCOPE
Act as the owner’s planning and design director in preparation of design criteria used for approximately 20 merchant builder residential subdivisions in Summerlin Centre East
RESULT
The document introduced evolutionary changes in Summerlin including pocket parks associated with neighborhood entrances, requirements for “architecture forward” such as usable front porches and recessed garages and landscaped panels on residential streets

RESULT

Southwest Area Trail Plan: Clark County
CLIENT
Clark County Department of Comprehensive Planning
SCOPE
Prepare a trail plan for the rapidly growing southwest area of the Las Vegas metro region including identifying alignments and developing improvement standards
RESULT
Portions of the completed document have been incorporated into the RTC trail plan
Update Marketing Corridor: Valencia, CA
CLIENT
Newhall Land an affiliate of Lennar Corporation (as an employee of Newhall Land)
SCOPE
Act as owner’s planning and design director in developing new community monumentation and marketing signage for Valencia including a four mile marketing corridor
RESULT
Implemented updated community monumentation and marketing signage program

Design Theme: Valencia Town Center
CLIENT
Newhall Land an affiliate of Lennar Corporation
SCOPE
Act as owner’s planning and design director in establishing a design direction for the regional retail center consistent with the Valencia Town Center Master Plan and direct the public art program
RESULT
External architecture utilized forms and materials reminiscent of the California Spanish heritage of the Rancho San Francisco (Newhall Ranch), interior architecture reflected the tradition of Victorian shopping arcades, a custom art program based on ranch history was implemented
